STEP 1:
Electricity and telephone are to be disconnected
STEP 2:
Carpets to be professionally shampooed refer to your Ingoing Inspection Report and provide your property manager with the receipt, tiles and floor boards need to be mopped and cleaned
STEP 3:
Windows and window sills to be cleaned and dusted
STEP 4:
All blinds must be cleaned and left in the same condition as when you moved in
STEP 5:
Stove hot plates, oven, griller, drip trays, range hoods and filters should be free from grease and cleaned thoroughly; this includes the area behind and beside an uprights stove
STEP 6:
Kitchen cupboards and shelves are to be cleaned, inside and out
STEP 7:
All walls, doors and light switches should be wiped down and free from any marks, finger prints and cobwebs
STEP 8:
Particular attention should be paid to bathrooms, toilets, basins, bath tubs, exhaust fans and vanity units. The shower recess is to be scrubbed and left free of mould and soap scum
STEP 9:
All hooks and brackets to be removed from walls. If no permission was given, holes are to be filled and walls patched painted. If colour does not match, walls to be repainted. All stickers and blue tack to be removed from all walls, doors and ceilings
STEP 10:
All light fittings and ceiling fans are to be cleaned and dusted
STEP 11:
All exhaust fans to be cleaned and dusted
STEP 12:
Ensure that all lawns, edges and gardens are neat and tidy and are as per the Ingoing Inspection report
STEP 13:
Driveways, carports, garages and all concrete areas are to be free from oil and grease stains. Any stains to be removed properly
STEP 14:
Ensure all rubbish is removed from interior and exterior of the premises. No rubbish is to be left on the footpath; the council will impose a fine to the occupant for any rubbish left behind. If pre arranged removal of rubbish has been organised, the rubbish must be placed on the footpath no more than 24 hours prior to council pick up
STEP 15:
Ensure that all the rent is up to date and any outstanding water usage is paid when handing in the keys to our Agency
STEP 16:
Don’t forget to redirect all your mail, drop in and see an Australian post Branch. If it is not redirected, you will not be getting mail which is addressed to you. It is NOT the Agent’s responsibility to forward the mail to your new address.
